Golang Job: Senior Golang Developer

This a remote position

We are looking for an experienced Senior GoLang Developer to make intuitive high level decisions for backend development. You will be creating approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team whenever required. You would be working closely with UX and frontend developers to understand end user requirements. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Some typical things that you’d be doing are:

• Write scalable code and be able to think about the best approach for the particular use case.
• Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.
• Improve functionality of existing systems.
• Devising best practices and modern tools to increase productivity and work quality.
• Work with stakeholders and fellow developers.
• Code reviews and mentoring other members of the team whenever required.

Good to have:

• Knowledge of Go templating language and code generation tools, such as Stringer
• Experience with frameworks
• Ability to prioritize and multitask as needed
• Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Excellent understanding of the concept of APIs and Frontend-Backend communication

Requirements

Experience: 4- 6 years

Must Haves:

• Expertise on Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and such as gin,kit,beego, etc.
• Hands-on experience on Golang routine and channel patterns
• Proficient in Go knowledge in struct, interfaces, and package development
• Prior experience of implementing an application on Azure/AWS using, docker/kubernetes/terraform.
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, quality, budget, and timeline
• Prior experience of leading junior developers.
• Experience with databases like SQL, MySQL etc.
